The cheapest price isn't always the cheapest fill

A forecourt 2p cheaper but 8 miles away can cost you more once you've driven there and back. Smart fill works out the true cost of filling up at every forecourt near you, using your tank, how full it is and your car's mpg, and ranks them by what you'll actually pay.

The lowest price (Costco) works out the dearest once you count the drive there and back.

Prices from the UK Government’s Fuel Finder scheme, under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Forecourts report changes within 30 minutes and we check hourly, so the price at the pump can differ. “Fill up” is 35 litres from empty.
